Study plan

Master’s courses last three semesters: the first two comprise a specialisation course (school phase) and the last is dedicated to writing a dissertation (dissertation phase).

Completion of the academic part of any of the master’s programmes gives the candidate the opportunity to prepare a dissertation on a topic proposed by the candidate and approved by the Faculty’s Scientific Council, under the supervision of a Professor of Law at this School. A public discussion of the dissertation is held with a jury appointed by the Faculty, which may include members of other national and foreign academic institutions. The jury assesses the dissertation and the exam and awards the master’s student a final classification in the course.

Duration: 2 curricular years (3 semesters), one year for the academic part and one semester for preparing the dissertation/internship report.

Pre-Bologna Master’s Degree: Each Pre-Bologna Master’s student attends two compulsory curricular units in their speciality in the 1st year of the Master’s degree, and the Introduction to Scientific Research Methodology I curricular unit in the 1st semester. (*)44 credits through the crediting of training acquired in the pre-Bologna Law Degree.

Number of credits: 90 ECTS

Regime: mixed (daytime and post-labour)
