Study plan

Master’s courses last four semesters: the first two comprise a specialisation course (school phase) and the last two are dedicated to writing a dissertation (dissertation phase).

Completion of the academic part of any of the master’s programmes gives the candidate the opportunity to prepare a dissertation on a topic proposed by the candidate and approved by the Faculty’s Scientific Council, under the supervision of a Professor of Law at this School. A public discussion of the dissertation is held with a jury appointed by the Faculty, which may include members of other national and foreign academic institutions. The jury assesses the dissertation and the exam and awards the master’s student a final classification in the course.

Duration: 2 curricular years (4 semesters),
one year for the academic part and one year
for preparing the dissertation

Number of credits: 120 ECTS

Regime: mixed (daytime and post-labour)

Note: The specialities and curricular units taught in each academic year are available on the “Programmes and Regents” page.
